Making Your Planet Green

The Green Prince

Prince Charles sees the writing on the wall and his message is clear and seemingly heart-felt. His message is consistent in that he is concerned about posterity and doesn't want his grandchildren saying, “Why didn’t you do something when it was possible to make a difference?”

He's apparently making good strides in efforts to rally support for the future of the human race by participating in well organized and well attended global forums. He’s probably best known in the U.S. as the organic gardening advocate.  http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_5075.cfm

I'll keep an eye on him a key public player in the biodiversity arena.

The Prince of Wales is advocating that local newspapers spread the word about 'thinking globally, act locally’; most of us have access to a fairly local newspaper or publication. If your paper doesn’t have a Green column writer or section – Ask for One! Tell them this is what their viewers want to read about.

Well, check this...

Prince Charles has told some of his staff to use bicycles in the fight against global warming. He is even prepared to travel to London by commuter train from a station near Highgrove.

Boy that is a good point by Chuck. Why is it that people only listen when someone famous tells them to. I hope the world is smart enough to realize that if you keep pumping chemicals into the water it will get polluted. If you keep burning fossils fuels it will pollute the air. The push to correct these issues is being held back because the people making the huge ammounts of money from these products don't want it corrected. Perfect example is the growth of China. Over there they have no enviromental laws. They are going to pollute there country beyond repair if we let them. The huge corporations don't care as long as there bottom line looks good. It needs to stop and the people of the world need to demand it.

Hey Mattel need a couple million gallons of lead based paint to use on your baby chew toys.
